Filmed a new reel scene with Mike Cho, filmed by the wonderfully talented Scotty Baker. Really happy with how it came out. Spent literally hours of my life editing. Finally got a decent edit. Feeling like 2023 might be a good year.
Next goal. Find a theatrical agent and manager!

Okay, it has been far too long since I last updated. Got sidetracked trying to save some cash for acting classes. Ended up spending money on a Shein haul instead because #halloween #spookyvibes.
Am going to update more regularly and commit to being more proactive about my career. First up, get back into regular classes. Look at Improv at UCB since it's back up and running at Franklin. Film a new reel scene asap. Focus on getting some more self tapes. Bought a new back drop and noise cancelling lapel mic during the Prime sale. So coming in hot for the end of 2022. 2023 is going to be the year. I can feel it. Now to pull out my cute boots and sweaters for Fall! Back in LA! Soaking up the sun. Got some brand spanking new head shots, and taking casting director workshops.
Re-entered the US on March 17. Hoping to start filming Vice Squad:LA next month. Enjoying life in the wilderness outside Denver, Colorado. Received the Johnson Johnson vaccine on Friday. Things are looking up!
Things are looking up. Sets are starting to open back up, and several Queensland productions are due to start filming next year including The Rock's biopic. Exciting times!
The Ascendent Studios and Ubiquity Entertainment Corporation have a number of projects under review at major networks in the US. So 2021 will hopefully be busy, and we can just ignore that 2020 ever happened! June is here... Still unemployed but Australia isn't flattening the curve, we're smashing it. Restrictions are being relaxed, so things are looking up!
Covid-19 is sweeping the world... I don't have US health insurance (travel insurance doesn't really count), my income has all but dried up, and I have no family and few friends in the US. I made the difficult decision to return to Australia until this whole thing blows over. I love that things are still going ahead over the internet, I love that (most) people are doing the right thing by social distancing, and self-isolating which will hopefully lower the curve. I am personally in a 14 day mandatory quarantine imposed by the Australian Government (i'm not mad at all, the majority of cases in Australia are from travelers that came into the Country). Monday is my 14th day. I have been binge watching everything I can think of. Currently watching Star Trek: Picard. Engage.
The end of 2019 will mark another big life decision. Moving to La La Land! The home of the stars, the place where Tim Burton grew up, birthplace of the cali burrito, land of smog, sun, and beaches. It will be an interesting adventure. Cannot wait!
Just finished eight weeks of a NIDA Techniques 2 class. Had a lot of fun delving back into some juicy scenes from plays. Also in week three of Tom McSweeney's advanced audition class. So glad to be back in front of Tom absorbing his wisdom like a sponge! Booked into the Meisner workshop next month at the fACTORy. Going to be an intense three days!
Started back at The Warehouse Screen Acting Studio on the Gold Coast. Had an excellent eight week class with Hollie Andrew, screen actors toolbox.
Started class with Ben Parkinson and Joey in Brisbane. Learning all about self-tapes. Love Joey's enthusiasm!! Doing Sunday class with Kristin Sexton, acting coach on Sunday on the Gold Coast. Psyched. Want to get back into improv... |
